Baxter
Baxter was sculpted by Sommer Prosser and introduced in earthenware ceramic in 2002. He represents a Mustang stallion and is approximately 1:12 scale, or in plastic model horse terminology, Classic scale. Baxter was produced by Lyn Raftis. Joanie made the molds for Lyn and kept four bisques as payment, which Joanie finished. Baxter was very difficult to produce, requiring much fiddling in the greenware state in order to stand evenly, so only a handful were ever made. Click on the pictures below for larger views.
