Callahan was sculpted by Adalee Hude and introduced in earthenware ceramics in 2011. He represents an Irish Draft stallion, and is 1:24 scale, or in plastic model horse terminology, Little Bits or Pebbles scale. A run of 30 pieces was produced and offered first to attendees of Joanie's 2011 Bring Out Your Chinas convention, with the balance being sold online. There were two color variations in the run, the "bay silver" variation, which had cream colored feathers and a redder color, and the "liver chestnut" variation, which had white feathers and a more chocolate color. In addition, both Joanie and Addi finished a handful of custom glazed pieces. Click on the pictures below for larger views.
