Contest Pins
In 2004 Joanie held pin sculpting contests, which Marilyn Jensen and Paige Patty Easley won. Marilyn's pony pin was used in glazing workshops. Her mule pin was produced in a run of 15 soft chestnut pintos, with a yellow hat, blue headband, and kissy spot, and gifted to six-time entrants of Pour Horse Pottery photo shows. A few custom glazed mule pins by Joanie and Marilyn also exist. Paige's pin was produced in a run of 45 buckskins and 45 wide blazed dapple greys. Click on the pictures below for larger views.
