Dante
Dante was sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig and introduced in earthenware ceramic in 2012. He represents a Murgese stallion, an Italian breed, hence the Italian name. He is large 1:32 scale, or in plastic model horse terminology, Stablemate or Chips scale. He will be released as an open edition. In other words, Joanie says, "I'll make him until I'm sick of him"! However that day may come sooner for Dante than it might for another horse due to his fragility and complicated assembly. Dante's mold currently holds the record for most complex Pour Horse mold at a mind blowing twenty one pieces. Click on the pictures below for larger views.
