Marcherware Griffin Tiles
Red and white tile, 2003; tiles with hourglass and key, 2004. The red and white tile is an encaustic tile, that is, red clay was imbedded in white clay. These tiles proved difficult to make and only three are in existence. The other tiles were meant to be a Marcherware collector's class awards but again only a couple exist.
