Marshall
Marshall was sculpted by Lynn Fraley and introduced in earthenware ceramic in 2001. He represents a Draft gelding. He is a large 1:12 scale, or in plastic model horse terminology, Classic scale. Marshall was a one-mold edition; that is, pieces were made until the mold wore out and a new mold was not made. Usually, that means about twenty to maybe thirty pieces. Marshall was produced as an "artist split"; that is, Joanie made the molds, cast the pieces, and received half of the run to finish and sell as payment for her services, with the sculpting artist receiving the other half.
