Miscellaneous Pins
Two miscellaneous pins are included here, ones that don't fit easily into other groups. One is the Bressay pony head pin, made for the 1997 Kalamazoo Valley Live Show, for Pour Horse collector's class entrants and judges.* A total of ten were made. The other is the Arabian medallion sculpted by Laurie Jo Jensen for the 1997 Arabian Horse History Seminar. Thirty were made, and few remain in the hobby. Click on the pictures below for larger views.
*Kalamazoo Valley Live was the first show to host Pour Horse collector classes and the first to receive these little pins as prizes. In 1997 they were the bay pony pins; in 1998,the Bressay head pins; and in 1999, the bay mule pins.
