The Shaggy Mare and Foal pins were sculpted by Adalee Velasquez Hude and released in 2000 in earthenware ceramic. A run of fifteen buckskin pinto mare and foals were produced for Bring Out Your Chinas in 2000, and a run of 43 roans was made for the 2001 Pour Horse photo show series. A run of 11 blue art glazed mare and foal pins were made in 2003. Other known colors include a bald-faced red chestnut with a bald face, a light peachy chestnut, bay with pangare, fleabit grey, buckskin, grulla pinto, and chestnut pinto. Click on the pictures below for larger views.
The pinto to the right is a claybody custom, the mane has been tamed and the shagginess smoothed out.
Above, the blue pony foal pin was from a set of art glazed pins, from Pour Horse Photo Show in 2003. Eleven of these sets were made.
